Attendance Information

ADMISSION
Participants are kindly requested to always wear their badges during congress activities to access scientific sessions and other congress areas. Replacement badges will be issued upon payment of a handling fee of € 60,00 (include inc. local VAT) and verification of original registration. Please note that children are not permitted in the congress area.

LUNCHES
Participants are entitled to a complimentary buffet lunch on May 28, 29, 30 and 31, as part of the registration fee.

TRANSPORTATION
Local transportation during the congress days is kindly offered by the City of Gdańsk.

A dedicated SKM train will run from Gdańsk Główny to AMBEREXPO (no intermediate stops) from 28 to 31 May (exact timings to be confirmed). The congress badge will serve as a ticket.

Trams and buses within the public transport network will also be free of charge. A QR code for public transport access will be sent in advance to all registered attendees.

LANGUAGE
The official language of the meeting is English.
Eventual simultaneous translation will be confirmed at a later date.

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME
The European Society of Hypertension cares about the planet!
For the upcoming meeting in Milan, we are taking steps to reduce our environmental footprint. By minimizing the use of printed paper, we aim to use less water, conserve energy, preserve mature trees, and help reduce global CO2 emissions.
As part of these efforts, the Scientific Programme will be available exclusively in a digital format. No printed copies will be provided. You can download the programme from the official event website or access it through the ESH Annual Meetings app.

WI-FI
WI-FI will be available in all conference areas.

CERTIFICATES
Certificates of attendance can be downloaded and emailed from the registration totems at the congress secretariat, on May 31.

E-POSTER
A Digital Poster Area will be set up at the Congress venue, with electronic stations where all E-posters can be browsed throughout the Congress.

E-POSTER SESSIONS
Poster discussion sessions are scheduled as follows:

Friday, May 29 – 17.45 to 19.00
Saturday, May 30 – 17.45 to 19.00

ABSTRACT BOOK
Accepted abstracts will be published in the supplement of the Journal of Hypertension, available on the ESH Annual Meetings app and on the congress website.

NO-SMOKING
Smoking in the Meeting area is not allowed.

MOBILE PHONES
Delegates are kindly requested to set their mobile phones on silent mode in the Rooms where scientific sessions are being held.

PROGRAMME CHANGES
The organizers cannot assume liability for any changes in the programme due to external or unforeseen circumstances. Please check the website or the official APP for regular updates. The organizers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, or change any of the sessions or to add new sessions.

UNEXPECTED CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT OR IMPOSSIBILITY TO HOLD IT
In the unlikely event that the ESH 2026 Meeting cannot be held, in whole or in part, due to circumstances beyond the Organisers’ control or force majeure (including war, riot, fire, explosion, accident, flood, earthquake, sabotage, strikes, governmental actions, fuel shortage, substantial increase in transportation costs, etc.), the Congress Organisers and ESH cannot be held liable for any damage, cost, or loss incurred. This includes registration fees, transportation and accommodation costs, or any other direct or indirect loss or consequential damage.

INSURANCE
The congress organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries or for loss of or damage to property belonging to congress participants, whether during the congress or as a result of it. Therefore, we recommend that you ensure the validity of your own insurance coverage.

Participants and faculty are advised that fraudulent websites or agencies may falsely claim to represent the ESH Annual Meeting 2026, offering registration, accommodation or travel services.
Please note that all registrations and official congress services are managed exclusively by the Organizing Secretariat, AIM Group International.
The Organizing Secretariat and the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) cannot accept responsibility for bookings made through unofficial providers or for any resulting financial losses.
